Training Opportunities

WFAA offers a range of training and professional development opportunities throughout the year, including WFAA Power Hour webinars, in-person workshops and our flag-shop conference. Members receive free access to WFAA Power Hours. 

Annual Conference

The WFAA Annual Conference brings together 120+ financial aid professionals from across Washington state for a packed three days of workshops, education and networking. Each fall, it's hosted at a rotating location throughout the state, with content tracks for all experience levels. 

Community & Connections

WFAA is more than just training and events, it's a community. Whether you're attending a conference, serving on a committee or chatting in listservs, you will find a supportive network of peers who understand the challenges and rewards of working in financial aid. These connections lead to long-term friendships, trusted colleagues and a stronger professional network. 

WFAA MEMBERSHIP PRICING FOR 2026-27

WFAA Membership is valid from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027
  • 2026-27 WFAA Individual Membership: $45 per person
  • 2026-27 WFAA Membership with Institutional Pricing (allows for enrollment of multiple/unlimited individual members from the same institution): $200 per institution
Membership renewal will start August 15, 2026. Please ensure your membership is renewed before attending the conference.
